My First Banana Leaf Lunch

Last week we decided to bring Zandra along for our crab style lunch but we ended up at Lotus Jalan Gasing for curry crab instead. The waiter was kind enough to spare Zandra a banana leaf without charging her on the package meal.

What she did when she receive her banana leaf? First she smell, then touch and even try to taste. She's probably thinking this is my plate?

Anyway, Zandra did enjoy her sumptuous lunch of telur dadar, white rice and fresh ikan goreng.  

Music Performance - First Time for Zandra

 Little Elsa' was giving out sweets to the audience.

When we were first told that Zandra was to take part in the choir, we were quite stunned because she has only started 2 month ago. Then came the news that Zandra was also part of the music ensemble. We were both thrilled and proud of our little girl. As this was a public charity performance, the center required their students to come every weekend to practice. Zamdra never failed to go for her practice. Her determination always impressed me. I can see Zandra was tired but at the same time she was enjoying herself.

I'm glad Zandra is getting out of her own circle and reaching out to others.

Drama Competition 2017 (State Level)

 

Zandra was selected once again to participate in the Drama Competition. This time she was the narrator. Though she was nervous but Zandra did not missed a word and ensure she did all her narrations accordingly.

Of course it was also very much a teamwork where each of the participants was doing very well.

Though it was tiring for Zandra, she was happy to add on new trophy to her collection.

'Desert time with Popo and Mummy'

As we're cutting down Zandra nap time, Mummy is fetching Zandra from school early so that she can have some home guidance and of course it comes with some 'fun' element.

Today, we're going for a good waffle at Owls. Zandra was quite excited with all the owls pictures and decor before she saw the waffle that we ordered.

When Zandra saw the waffle (I mean the toppings) Zandra was eager to try the strawberries and bluberries. She was quite reluctant with the banana slice but eventually when she took the banana when supply of berries was getting low.

LOST!!
