Cuti-cuti Malaysia - Sekinchan

" A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"

A proverb that makes us to start travelling locally before venturing out. This time round, our destination - SEKINCHAN. A fishing village in the beginning, extended into paddy plantation has in the few years, make the place a popular tourist attraction.

After a fulfilling dim sum breakfast, we headed to Sekinchan and the beginning of our 2 days trip.


DAY 1:
Pulai Redang
Our first destination to avoid being burnt by the sun if we reached later. The girls became cheerful when they were allowed to play bubbles.




Chan Po Tion Restaurant
Since we were hungry, so we looked for the nearest restaurant for lunch. The girls were hungry and gulped down the ginger pork and rice.


Ah Ma House
After lunch, we needed to stretch our legs so Ah Ma House we go. A place that was decorated with the 1880's style, you'll find tins of biscuits, old tiffins and wooden tables and benches. After getting some coffee and herbal tea for the girls to quenched their thirst, we headed to the next destination.




Paddy Gallery
5 minutes drive from Ah Ma House, is the Paddy Gallery. After a briefing on how paddy was planted till harvest, the girls enjoyed looking at the display and pictures showing the life of a farmer. We bought some food and headed to hotel to check in.



A+ Boutique Hotel
Lil Princess was stunted by the decoration in the hotel From transportation in the olden days to an English garden feel at the attic garden.






Bagan Restaurant
It started to drizzle when the girls were playing at the garden. Worried of heavy rain, we instantly drove to our restaurant for dinner. Still, we had to wait for 45 minutes for our dinner. The rain was getting heavier outside and the crowd of people build up. Lucky we were here early.


By the time we reached the hotel, the girls were exhausted. So, after a warm bath, the girls settled for their favourite show 'Britain has talent', accompanied by hot cup as supper. What an interesting day!


DAY 2:
After breakfast, the girls requested to have a last bubble blowing session at Pulau Redang. Since we were near the market area, we had chicken rice and shark porridge. The paddy field were plentiful and you won't be bored taking pictures.


Then we headed to N 16 Cafe. Recycled from the old-fashioned bus, the cafe offered good Honey Lemon with Pea flower. The girls loved it! While that, daddy and mummy settled for black coffee and instantly refreshed up. The cakes were superb especially blueberry cheese cake.





Later, we dropped by Seremeban for popo to purchase dumplings. Since we were around Daddy and Mummy settled for cendol and rojak while lil Princess had her snack biscuits.

What a contented day visiting different places , providing ample time for the girls to play!
